(Read Part One here)

In the last part of the story Skipper’s friend, Miracle, comes up with a plan to not be in the hat parade.

It was the day of the hat parade.  I looked at Miracle.

“What’s the plan?” I asked him.

“Here’s the plan, said Miracle.  We will roll around in the dirt until we are so dirty we look like palominos.”

“But if we do that they will still know who we are because we will still be in the same paddock,” I said as I looked at the label on the paddock gate that said Skipper and Miracle.

“I thought about that,” he said.  “I will see if the fence is low enough to jump and you will try to open the gate with your teeth.”

“Okay,” I said and grabbed the lock with my teeth.

“Hey, Skipper, come over here!” Miracle called from the back of the paddock after we both rolled in the dirt.

I galloped to him.

“Look! He said excitedly.  It is low enough to jump.”  We both soared over the fence with ease.

What will happen now?  Where will Skipper and Miracle go now?  Find out in part 3.
